Kankakee County State's Attorney Jim Rowe is the Kankakee County Board Ethics Commission Advisor.
About the Kankakee County Board Ethics Commission
With the ultimate goal of providing a transparent point of ethical accountability, the Kankakee County Board reactivated the Kankakee County Ethics Commission in 2017. In April 2019, the Kankakee County Board amended ordinance 2017-10-10-136 with ordinance 2019-04-09-66. The amendment appoints the county state's attorney as the county ethics advisor except in instances in which the state's attorney has an articulated conflict.
